Ephesians 2:1-3 - Trespassing Against God

Ephesians 2:1-3 (ESV) - And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Oh, what a joy it is to know that from which we came and the awesome mercy that our Lord has.  It is truly through His grace that we are saved!

Ponder this picture and reflect on the many times that we have trespassed against Him, even though He has warned us of the Hazardous Conditions.  The thought of His forgiveness in spite of ourselves should bring to us an adoration and love for our Lord and motivate us to serve Him.
